Bethany Lutheran Church – West Branch, Iowa

An awesome day in worship yesterday as 5 youth affirmed their baptisms; also known as Confirmation.  Way to go Gavin, Anna, Ellie, Olivia, and Katie.

Favorite Hymns Wanted:  We invite you to tell us your favorite hymns that are found in the Evangelical Lutheran Witness (ELW) hymnal.  There will be a box located in the Great Hall downstairs with slips of paper next to it.  Please write down your favorite hymn with number if possible and place it in the box.  Then over the course of the summer months (June, July, August) we will select one hymn each Sunday and sing that hymn.  Please understand we may not get to all hymns depending on how many are in the box.  At this point we invite you to place only one or two hymns in the box.  That will allow us to try and get to as many people’s favorites as possible.

The following options for worship during Holy Week are listed below.

Maundy Thursday, April 13th:  7:00 p.m. at West Branch United Methodist Church

 Good Friday, April 14th:  7:00 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church

Easter Sunday, April 16th: 9:00 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church
