Even in a small community of approximately 2,300 people there are many who struggle just trying to put food on the table. Over the years the people of Bethany Lutheran Church have faithfully and diligently collected food and other supplies for the West Branch Community Food Pantry (located at the old middle school). We do this in response to the love Jesus Christ has so graciously given us. If you wish to donate we have a collection bin just inside the North entry to the church building. See below for the most needed items at the pantry. Donations may be dropped off at Bethany Lutheran M-F 9:00-4:00 PM.
Additionally, each month a mobile pantry visits West Branch and other communities in Cedar County. This is sponsored by Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP). Below you will find the monthly calendar.
