We gather in fellowship immediately following our 9:00 a.m. worship in the great hall. Refreshments are also served. Fellowship is an important aspect in the life of a faith community. We believe and trust Christ meets us through one another and are supported and strengthened for a life of discipleship.
The Great Hall Addition was completed in 2003 after the congregation outgrew its space in the basement of the church, which is now called the “small hall”. This space is a wonderful blessing and many Bethany activities take place here. The space is also utilized in a variety of other ways such as blood drives, club meetings, and the Southeastern Iowa Synod frequently uses this space for meetings and events. The Great Hall also houses confirmation classes, youth education, and small group ministries.
Thanks be to God and the wonderful response to God’s grace and mercy in the gifts that helped build this great addition.
