As a new year of learning begins today, Faith Forward has some great resources to spark conversations and more in the home and on the go.

Just a reminder, to assist our walk with Jesus beyond Sunday, there is a “Beyond Sunday” tab on the menu bar above. One resource located there is “On the Way.” Each Monday, a new short and simple discussion prompt and prayer is posted utilizing a verse or two from the upcoming Sunday assigned Bible passages. See the photo below of how to locate that page if you weren’t sure. Just hover your cursor over “Beyond Sunday” and a new box will drop down below. Faith formation doesn’t have to happen only at church. Faith happens beyond Sunday — around the dinner table, in the car, on a walk, at the grocery store, and in the ordinary moments of family life.

This fall, your Faith Forward team is beginning a new text ministry designed to help families practice faith together wherever they are. And it’s not just for families! It’s for anyone. Grandparents. Aunts and Uncles. Baptismal sponsors. Mentors. Anyone who wants to grow in faith with others.

Twice each month, we’ll send a short text with a simple idea you can do together. Pray. Read Scripture. Talk about faith. Serve others. Share a meal. Sometimes it may take only a minute or two. 

No homework. No lengthy lessons. No added meetings. Just small moments that help faith grow.

A special congregational meeting is being called in order for the council to enter into a contract that exceeds $5,000 (as per our Constitution and Bylaws) for necessary repairs to the bell tower and repair of portions of the stucco exterior and also to paint the exterior of the church. This meeting will be held August 30, 2026 immediately following worship. Please see the document below from Council President Dale Swenson.
