Watch the latest video put out by the ELCA Malaria Campaign.  We are nearly to our $15 million goal as a church.  Thanks to all of you here at Bethany.  We gave over $1100 in May to help reach this goal.  That is awesome!  Praise God!

Community Meal Tonight

Each of us, individually and corporately, are encouraged to read Bishop Eaton’s response to the tragic incident in Charleston, SC.  We are invited to pray, reflect, and then move forward as people of God calling for a halt to all forms of racism, injustice, prejudice, and the systems that continue to separate us one from another.

Listening Posts for Parents of Youth

Attention parents of all children and youth!  As a community grounded in the love of Christ we do our best to faithfully respond to our call to share that love with all; especially the children and youth here at Bethany and beyond.  As we move forward, plan, and ponder our future and how God is using our faith community in regards to youth education and ministry we are seeking your input.  Several “Listening Posts” will be available for all parents to attend.  Specifically, these meetings will be geared to education and ministry for youth 5th grade – High School.  These “Listening Posts” will be opportunities to listen to one another, hear what is important in the work we do together pertaining to our children and youth, and then take this information to a planning team to review, discuss, discern, and pray about where the Holy Spirit is leading us.  Your attendance at one of these events is encouraged and will be greatly appreciated.  The “Listening Posts” will be held on the dates and times listed below.  Thank you!

  • Thursday, July 23 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Great Hall
  • Sunday, July 26 @ 10:15 a.m. in the Small Hall following worship
  • Monday, August 3 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Great Hall
