Christmas Eve Worship Services

All are invited to worship with us on Christmas Eve.  We will have 2 services where we will bask in the radiant light of the Savior born to us.  Holy communion will be celebrated at both services and we welcome all who believe this good news to the Lord’s Table.  We will sing glorious songs we all cherish and in the stillness we will dim the lights, be surrounded by darkness, and then watch as the candles we each hold overcome that darkness and bear forth the light of Christ in the world.

Our Christmas Eve worship times are:  5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Cookie Walk this Saturday

Once again as the West Branch community celebrates Christmas Past, Bethany will host its annual Cookie Walk this Saturday, December 6.  This will begin at 9:00 am and go until the cookies are all gone.  This is a phone time to come and have a cookie or other treat, a cup of coffee, and share some conversation.

Angel Tree 2014

We are doing God’s Work with Our Hands again this year by once again purchasing items for those in need within our community.

There are ornaments hanging on the Christmas tree in the Great Hall.  Please take one and then return the wrapped item (with the ornament attached to the outside of the package) by December 12th.  You can also make a monetary donation (make check payable to Bethany Lutheran Church) and Jeni S.  will  go out and purchase items.
