Job Opportunity:  Our current custodian, Jerry Dodds, has resigned his position. We are thankful for Jerry and his service to our community of faith while in this position. Lutheran Day on the Hill – February 19th

Registration is now open for Lutheran Day on the Hill as Lutherans from across Iowa come together to advocate for Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) and the many people they work with and assist in their time of need. Women’s Retreat

Our first-ever join retreat for the women of Bethany Lutheran and Trinity Lutheran!

February 9 — 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

We’ll start at Trinity for gathering and lunch, then continue our afternoon at Oasis Coffee Shop. Join us for a chance to build relationships with sisters in Christ, to deepen your faith in God, and to spend meaningful time in worship and reflection. Each participant will go home with a keepsake to remind them of the event, and lunch and dinner are provided.

Women’s Retreat Coming in February

Women, mark your calendars for this retreat, including Bible study, relationship building with God and other women, a take-home craft, and more!

Registration details and sign-up will be active soon! We’ve partnered with our sisters at Bethany Lutheran in West Branch to make this retreat a great experience.

Worship and Weather November 25

Good morning!
I have had a couple inquires about whether or not worship is still on for this morning and the answer is yes. However, as always if conditions deteriorate please use your judgement on whether or not to venture out. Your safety is always important!
If conditions do deteriorate significantly throughout the day and the wind picks up, I suspect we may cancel the Community Dinner at Bethany this evening. Another email will be sent and notice will be placed on our website and reported to KGAN (Channel 2) if we do make that decision.

Angel Tree 2018

Please see the note below from Jeni Schiele.
We have been given 5 families this year from WBCSD for the Angel Tree project.  We will be using an online signup again this year to get the info out in time for Black Friday shopping.
Please return wrapped and labeled gifts (letter and age) to Bethany by December 5, 2018.
You can write checks to WBCSD to be put toward lunch and milk accounts in need.  Feel free to place those in my mailbox or take them to school directly.
You may also write checks to Bethany to be used for shopping for items that remain in the signup at the end.  Please put Angel Tree in the memo and place them in the offering.
