Each year, through the generous financial gifts stewarded by the faithful people of God at Bethany, 10% is forwarded onto the Office of the Bishop of the Southeastern Iowa Synod, our partner in ministry. Do you ever wonder what happens to those gifts and how they are utilized? The 2021 Mission Spending Annual Report of the Southeastern Iowa Synod is now available and can be downloaded on the Southeastern Iowa Synod website. A slide show and additional information is also found there.

Here is the sermon from our Bishop, Amy Current, of the Southeastern Iowa Synod delivered during worship at the Annual Assembly.

The Annual Synod Assembly is this Friday & Saturday (May 20-21). You may view it live at: seiasynod.org/assembly or on the Synod Facebook page facebook.com/seiasynod

VBS returns this summer July 10-12 6:00-8:00 PM each night. For more information and to register, visit our VBS page here.

Today’s hiking ministry through the prairies of the Hoover Presidention Library and Museum has been postponed. The trail is soft in spots and it is just cold and blustery being so exposed. We will not meet at church as was earlier published. A date will be set for the near future. If you are interested in this ministry, please email Pastor Chad at pastor@wbbethany.org
