Spoof and Phishing Emails

Once again, some may be receiving emails that appear to be sent from Pastor Chad. These are a scam. Please do not respond to them. Notice the email address of the sender. It is different than Pastor Chad’s (pastor@wbbethany.org). Pastor Chad will never send you a text or email requesting gift cards. If he would ever need something like that, he will call or talk to you directly. Below is a copy of a document produced by the Office of the Bishop that explains these elaborate scams.
